Vijay Dunna

Vijay Dunna has a strong background in agricultural research and scientific roles. Vijay worked as a Principal Scientist at ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute starting in August 2017. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Scientist at ICAR-Indian Grassland and Fodder Research Institute from June 2011 to July 2017. From October 2006 to June 2011, they were a Scientist at AP Rice Research Institute of Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University. Vijay also worked as a Research Scientist at Nath Bio-Genes (India) Ltd from April 2006 to September 2006. In addition, they had roles as a Seed Technologist at Vibha Agrotech Ltd from September 2005 to March 2006, and as a Scientific Assistant at Bioversity International from January 2005 to September 2005.

Vijay Dunna completed their Secondary School Certificate (SSC) from BPM Municipal High School in the years 1985 to 1990. Vijay then pursued an Intermediate degree in Biology-Physics-Chemistry (BPC) from LDG Junior College, Dharmapuri, Vizianagaram between 1990 and 1992. Continuing their education, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (Agriculture) - BSc (Ag) from Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University from 1993 to 1998. Vijay furthered their studies and obtained a Master of Science - MS degree in Seed Science and Technology from the Indian Agricultural Research Institute between 1998 and 2000. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Seed Science and Technology from the Indian Agricultural Research Institute between 2000 and 2005.
