Marina Simon, PhD, is the Technical Director of Biocompatibility and Toxicology at ICARE, where they have been responsible for evaluating the biological safety of medical devices since 2019. With a decade of experience in cellular biology research and interfaces, Marina has previously conducted a post-doctoral fellowship at INSERM and worked as a researcher at the Institut Bergonié. They earned a Doctorate in Cellular Biology and Pathophysiology from Université Bordeaux I and have contributed significantly to teaching and mentoring at the university level. Marina is currently seeking new challenges in their professional journey.
