Eliza Lee is a co-creator and screenwriter for the dramatic TV series ANGELICA, which explores the lives of four women in a small Mid-West town facing the closure of the last abortion clinic in their state. Recognized for outstanding work, Eliza received accolades such as the 2017 WriteEliza's List and was a finalist at the 2018 Canneseries. Eliza is also involved in the literary biopic HIGHSMITH / A BEAUTIFUL LIE, centered on thriller novelist Patricia Highsmith, with a background as a Sundance Institute Asian American Feature Film Fellow and participation in various prestigious writing labs. Additionally, Eliza is writing MAYBE TOMORROW, a biopic about rock legend Chrissie Hynde, and serves as a storyteller/designer for Icarus Interstellar's Project Persephone, aiming for interstellar flight. With extensive experience in both Chinese and North American film industries, Eliza holds a BFA in Film from Simon Fraser University, along with education from Charles University and Emily Carr University of Art and Design.
