Mark Anderson, PE, MBA has a long and varied career in the energy industry. Mark began their career in 1980 as a Consulting Engineer for Northern States Power. In 2003, they became the General Superintendent for Taurus Engineering, Inc. and then in 2004, they became the Director of Engineering/ISO Program Manager for Prudential Overall Supply. In 2009, they were the Director of Engineering & Construction for Spinnaker Energy, and then in 2010, they became the Senior Vice President/General Manager for Baran USA - Baran Group. In 2011, they were the CEO of RETECH Engineering, Inc. and the CEO and Sr. Project Manager for RETECH Engineering, Inc. Mark also held the role of CEO and Co-Founder of Icarus RT, Inc. and CEO and Sr. Project Manager of Mobius Thermo-chemical Waste to Energy. In 2016, they became the Founder & CEO of Icarus RT, Inc.

In addition to their work experience, Mark Anderson, PE, MBA has also been the Executive Director of TheGreenNova.org since 2008. Mark was responsible for managing the daily functions of the organization in all aspects through fundraising, development, program development, public relations, and supporting the organization’s mission.

Mark Anderson, PE, MBA has an extensive educational background. Mark received their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hartford in 1979. In 2003, they went on to pursue an Executive Master of Business Administration from San Diego State University, graduating in 2005. In 2007, they attended Whittier Law School and completed the JD Program in 2008. Mark also attended West Haven High School. In addition, Anderson is a Licensed Professional Engineer in California, obtained in 2005, and in Minnesota, obtained in 1984.
