Joe Schneider

Joe Schneider is senior vice president of state relations for the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA). In this role he serves as the primary liaison between ICBA and its 44 affiliated state associations, to advance their common goal of creating and promoting an environment where community banks flourish.

Schneider provides strategic planning services, working with staff and leadership at the state and national level, to disseminate information on important policy positions focusing on mission, resource management, and membership value. Working with ICBA executive leadership and key staff, Schneider manages speaking appearances and ICBA’s presence at state association conventions nationwide while coordinating government relations briefings for state associations and their membership.

Before joining ICBA, Schneider was the director of associate member services with the National Association of Home Builders where he was responsible for managing programs and services for their membership.

Schneider has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the Loyola University of Chicago.
