Will Simpson is an experienced media rights manager currently working at the International Cricket Council since February 2016, where responsibilities have included roles as Assistant Manager of Media Rights and Digital Rights Officer. Prior to this, Will served as Digital Media Manager at The Cricketer for a year and worked at Carve Consulting as Content & Community Manager. Additional experience includes roles as a Social Media Analyst at Pitch, Customer Success Manager at EngageSciences, and Social Media Manager at Superdry. Will also managed a start-up venture, SportsWebMedia, as Owner & Digital Project Manager and served as eCommerce Manager for the Welsh Rugby Union. Will holds a degree in Sports Studies and Business Management from the University of South Wales.

The ICC is the global governing body for cricket. Representing 106 members, the ICC governs and administrates the game and is responsible for the staging of major international tournaments including the ICC Men’s World Cup and Women’s World Cup and the ICC Men’s and Women’s T20 World Cups as well as all associated qualifying events. The ICC presides over the ICC Code of Conduct which sets the professional standards of discipline for international cricket, playing conditions, bowling reviews and other ICC regulations and appoints match officials. Through the Anti-Corruption Unit it coordinates action against corruption and match fixing. The ICC Development department works with Associate Members to improve the quality of international cricket, build better cricket systems, get more people playing cricket and grow the game globally.
