Deputy Co-chair B20 South Africa Taskforce On Digital Transformation at ICC United Kingdom

Chris Southworth currently serves as a member of the Legal Reform Advisory Board at the International Chamber of Commerce, holding multiple leadership positions including Co-Chair of the Legal Reform Advisory Board for the ICC Digital Standards Initiative and the Commercialisation Working Group within the ICC Banking Commission. Since July 2019, Chris has co-chaired the Legal Reform and Digitalisation Working Group at The Commonwealth and the B2B Cluster for the Connectivity Agenda. Additional roles include Board Member of ICC United Kingdom and serving on the International Advisory Board for both the Queen Mary-UNIDROIT Institute of Transnational Commercial Law and the Digital Trade Network. Prior experience includes positions with G7 Germany, APPG Trade & Export Promotion, Universal Trade Network, British Chambers of Commerce, and UK Trade & Investment. Chris holds a CBA in Business Administration from London Metropolitan University, a postgraduate degree in Methodologies of Participatory Rural Appraisal from the University of London, and a BSc (Hons) in Third World Studies with Spanish from Middlesex University.
