Peter Melhado has held various executive roles since 2004. Peter began their career as President & CEO of ICD Group Limited, then moved on to become Chairman of West Indies Home Contractors Limited (WIHCON) in 2005. In the same year, they were appointed Chairman of American International School of Kingston. In 2012, they took on the roles of Director of Advantage Communications Inc. and Chairman of Industrial Chemical Company (Jamaica) Ltd, as well as Chairman of Gallagher Caribbean Group Ltd. In 2019, they were appointed Chairman of Sagicor Group Jamaica Ltd and Red Stripe Beer, and Director of WIHCON Properties Ltd.
Peter Melhado received their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Columbia Business School in 1990, with a focus in Finance. Peter also obtained a B. Engineering from McGill University in 1985, specializing in Mechanical Engineering.
