Freedom Smith

Freedom Smith is a partner at Ice Miller LLP, where Smith specializes in risk management and complex corporate litigation, including areas such as products liability, environmental liability, and insurance defense. Previously, Smith served as a 2019 LCLD Fellow with the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity and gained judicial experience as a law clerk for Chief Judge Andrew Effron at the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. Additionally, Smith worked as a judicial extern for Judge Patricia Riley at the Indiana Court of Appeals. Smith holds a Juris Doctor degree from Indiana University Maurer School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Computer Science from DePauw University.
