Vijay Mudambi

Vijay Mudambi has over 16 years of experience in the field of project management and data science. In 2020, they joined IceCream Labs as a Data Science, Product Project Manager, where they built a complex AI solution that exceeded customer expectations in the education space. Vijay was involved in understanding customer needs, translating them to product requirements, understanding data, managing the data science and the Dev teams, and delivering a product that exceeded customer expectations. Vijay also worked on data analytics for small businesses and cloud kitchens, a model repository for AI/ML engineers and data scientists, and a web app for locating and validating resources during the second wave of Covid 19. In 2014, they worked as a Project Management Consultant at Manufacturing Systems Improvement (MSym), where they consulted on Lean, Supply chain, Inventory management and forecasting and Six Sigma for SMEs. Vijay also delivered a project for inventory management with dynamic Kanbans (demand forecasting) for 100000 SKUs. From 2011 to 2014, they were a Partner at Lokring India. From 2004 to 2011, they worked at Lokring Technology LLC as a Supply Chain and Operations professional.

Vijay Mudambi obtained their BE in Industrial Engineering from NIE. Vijay then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Integrated Manufacturing Systems Engineering from North Carolina State University, which they completed in 2003. Vijay also holds a Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
