Christopher Kuo started their work experience in 2010 as a Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they specialized in protein purification and characterization. Christopher later worked as a Lab Technologist at the same university before transitioning to the food industry.
In 2014, Kuo joined Sabra Dipping Company, LLC as an R&D Scientist, focusing on product development, formulation, and process improvement. Christopher worked on ideation, commercialization, and cost-saving initiatives.
In 2016, Kuo moved on to Sensient Technologies Corporation as an R&D Scientist, where they conducted new product and process research, as well as application development.
In 2017, Kuo joined Jamba Juice as a Manager of Innovations, driving domestic and international product innovations and consumer insight-driven product development.
In 2018, Kuo joined FOCUS Brands as a Senior Culinary Manager, specifically working on the Jamba rebrand team. Christopher played a role in reimagining the menu with plant-based, sugar-reduced, and nutrient-boosted products.
Most recently, in 2020, Kuo joined Icelandic Provisions as the Senior Product Development Manager. Further details about their role are not provided.
Christopher Kuo earned a Bachelor's degree in Horticultural Science from National Taiwan University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Christopher then pursued a Master's degree in Food Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they studied from 2011 to 2013.
