Scala Developer at ICEO - Venture Builder

Kacper Skelnik has work experience as a Scala Developer at ICEO - Venture Builder since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at PKO Bank Polski from September 2020 to May 2023, holding roles such as Senior Cloud Engineer, Data Engineer, Junior Data Engineer, and Internet CRM Intern - Data Science Department. From January 2019 to January 2021, Kacper was involved with the Student Council of the Faculty of Physics at Samorząd Studentów Politechniki Warszawskiej. Kacper also gained experience as an Intern at RENAU ELECTRONIC LABORATORIES in July and August 2020, focusing on Amazon Alexa skills development. Additionally, Kacper worked as an Intern at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in August and September 2019 and at the Solid State Ionics Division, Warsaw University of Technology in July and August 2018.

Kacper Skelnik began their education journey at Warsaw University of Technology in 2017, where they pursued a degree in Fizyka Techniczna - Fizyka komputerowa. Kacper completed this undergraduate degree in 2021. Subsequently, in 2021, they enrolled in the same institution for their master's degree, focusing on Fizyka Techniczna - Eksploracja Danych i Modelowanie Interdyscyplinarne. Kacper is expected to finish this program in 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Kacper Skelnik has obtained several certifications. In 2020, they completed the Applied Data Science with Python Specialization program from the University of Michigan, the Server-side Development with NodeJS, Express and MongoDB program from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and the Deep Learning Specialization from deeplearning.ai. Kacper also acquired the Algorithmic Toolbox certification from the University of California San Diego and the Python and Statistics for Financial Analysis certification from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Furthermore, in 2020, Kacper Skelnik became a Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer, certified by National Instruments.
