Tero Kuusijärvi

Tero Kuusijärvi is a highly skilled software engineer with extensive experience in embedded systems and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Flight Software Engineer at ICEYE since June 2021, Tero specializes in writing embedded Linux software and test suites in C, C++, and Python for satellite subsystem control. Previous roles include R&D Software Engineer at Nokia from October 2017 to May 2021, where Tero developed middleware Linux services and wrote various tests, and a SoC Verification Engineer, leading a verification team and implementing test cases in SystemVerilog. Earlier experience at Efore Oyj included a Master's Thesis project focused on modeling an FPGA controller in VHDL and contributions as an Embedded SW Testing Trainee. Tero holds a Master of Science degree in Micro and Nanoelectronic Circuit Design from Aalto University, completed in 2017.
