Udit Asopa

Udit Asopa is a SAR Remote Sensing Engineer at ICEYE since December 2021, specializing in the development of remote sensing approaches for damage detection from hurricanes, forest fire mapping, and change detection. Udit has experience in creating analytical tools and workflows using Python, as well as maintaining GIS mapping tools for wildfire tracking. Previously, Udit worked as a Research Scholar at Technische Universiteit Delft, focusing on interferometry and radar remote sensing, and as a Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, conducting fieldwork on glacial and forest mapping. Udit's earlier roles include Satellite Image Processing Engineer at IIRS, Embedded System Design Engineer at AARMON TECH, and various internships in network administration and embedded system design. Udit holds a Master of Engineering in Remote Sensing and GIS from IIRS, a Post Graduate Diploma in Biomedical Instrumentation, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering.
