Nicolas Berthiaume

Nicolas Berthiaume is an experienced Economic Research Consultant at SEO Amsterdam Economics, specializing in impact evaluations of international development programs since September 2019. Previously, Nicolas served as an Associate Consultant at the Institute for Development Impact, providing Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning support for international projects in Cambodia and Ghana. Additional roles include Economics Tutor at My Sherpa and a Strategy Consulting & Marketing Research Intern at Nzuri Trust, where Nicolas contributed to a marketing strategy for expanding business loans. Nicolas began their career as a Research Intern at SEO Amsterdam Economics, where a thesis on economic development and human migration was published as a World Bank Working Paper. Nicolas holds a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Arts with a focus on Mathematics and Economics from University College Utrecht, complemented by an exchange program in Mathematical Economics & Philosophy at UC San Diego.
