Sophie Kim

Sophie Kim is a dedicated professional with a strong focus on sustainability and environmental studies. Currently serving in a service role at the University of Virginia since January 2022, Sophie has also been a team member at The Juice Laundry since September 2021. Relevant experience includes a sustainability internship at Serco from May to August 2023 and a position as a research and communications assistant for the Global Climate Pledge from September 2022 to August 2023. Additionally, as a sustainability ambassador at the University of Virginia from September to December 2022, Sophie collaborated with the Office of Sustainability to implement greener policies. Previous experience includes a summer internship at GreenMet in June to August 2022, focusing on the critical mineral supply chain. Sophie is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and a minor in Data Science at the University of Virginia, expected to graduate in May 2024.
