Antariksha Das is a Postdoctoral Researcher at ICFO, focusing on quantum memories and quantum networking since February 2024. Previously, Antariksha held a similar position at QuTech from September 2018 to February 2024, working on silicon vacancy-related point defects in silicon carbide for applications in single-photon spectroscopy, quantum networking, and quantum sensing. Antariksha completed a PhD at Delft University of Technology, with a thesis on photonic quantum memory, and has experience as a visiting researcher at the University of Geneva, where laboratory setups and coherent spectroscopy of rare-earth-ion-doped materials were established. Additional research experience includes fellowships and internships at various prestigious institutions, focusing on optics, cavity optomechanics, quantum optics, and astrophysics. Antariksha holds an integrated BS-MS degree in Physics from the Indian Institute of Science Education & Research, Kolkata.
