Suzanne Guntlow

Suzanne Smith-Guntlow currently serves as the Superintendent of Ichabod Crane Central School District, a position held since July 2020, and was previously the Assistant Superintendent and Principal of Curriculum and Instruction at Ichabod Crane Central School. With a background in educational leadership, Suzanne has experience managing professional development for K-12 staff, overseeing literacy programs, and administering state assessments. Prior roles include Principal at Ichabod Crane Primary School, Director of Literacy and Universal Pre-Kindergarten at Watervliet City School District, and a long tenure as an Elementary Education Teacher at East Greenbush Central School District. Academic qualifications include advanced certifications in school leadership from the College of St. Rose and a Master’s degree in Elementary Education. Suzanne also has a prior career as a Liability Supervisor at Travelers Insurance Company, demonstrating a diverse professional background.
