Patrice Pillet

Patrice Pillet is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in taxation and legal affairs. Since 1998, Patrice has served at the European Commission in various roles, including Cabinet expert and Head of Unit for both the VAT Unit and Legal affairs in Indirect taxation. Additional responsibilities include leading the sector for VAT legislation and international customs cooperation, as well as managing mutual assistance efforts against tax fraud. Since April 2017, Patrice has contributed as a professor at ICHEC Brussels Management School. Prior experience includes serving as Attaché d'administration for local taxation at the Mairie de Paris from 1995 to 1998. Patrice's academic background includes studies at the Institut d'Etudes politiques de Bordeaux and Université de Bordeaux.
