Frank Casmartino has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Frank began their career as a University Professor and Researcher at Universidad Tecnológica de La Habana "José Antonio Echeverría" in September 2013. During this time, they conducted scientific research in Software Defined Networking and taught subjects such as Networking and VoIP.
In 2015, Frank worked as a Freelance Software Developer, where they analyzed client requirements, created project plans, and developed software solutions using MATLAB and C.
From September 2016 to March 2018, Frank worked at Night Owl Security Products LLC as a Product Development Engineer. Frank was responsible for designing and defining new products and working with overseas engineering teams to manufacture them.
In March 2018, Frank transitioned to the role of Technical Program Manager at Night Owl Security Products LLC, where they managed a team of up to 12 members across three locations. Frank managed a budget of over 13M for product development and provided guidance to the CEO and COO on business strategies and new product ideas.
Since October 2019, Frank has been working at iCheckGateway.com. Frank initially joined as an IT Project Manager, where they doubled the team size and implemented the SCRUM Framework and CI/CD to reduce time to market by 80%. Frank is currently serving as the Director of Technology.
Throughout their career, Frank has demonstrated strong technical and leadership skills, managing teams, budgets, and implementing processes to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Frank Casmartino completed their education at Universidad Tecnológica de La Habana "José Antonio Echeverría", CUJAE. From 2008 to 2013, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electrical Engineering. Following this, they pursued postgraduate courses in Telecommunications at the same university from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, Frank has obtained several certifications, including Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance in February and March 2022, respectively. Frank also holds the Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. obtained in February 2022. Furthermore, Frank obtained the CCENT certification from Cisco in July 2016 and the CompTIA A+ certification from CompTIA in February 2016.
