Jose Compte

Jose Compte has a diverse work experience in various roles. Jose currently works as a QA Engineer at iCheckGateway.com since September 2021. Prior to that, they served as a QA Engineer Manager at Night Owl Security Products LLC from September 2019 to September 2021. In this role, they led and managed the QA Technicians and Engineers, distributed tasks among the QA team, and prioritized based on agreements with the development product team.

Before their role as a QA Engineer Manager, Jose worked as a Network/IT/Hardware/QA Engineer at Night Owl Security Products LLC from September 2016 to September 2019. In this position, they specialized in hardware analysis of embedded devices, focused on Wi-Fi modules, antenna radiation patterns, SoC (mainly Hisilicon and Texas Instruments), current consumption, battery life analysis, and signal transmission over wired media.

Prior to Night Owl Security Products LLC, Jose worked as an HFC Network Technician at TV CABLE in 2015. In this role, they were responsible for repairs and maintenance of HFC networks and worked with network measurement equipment.

Jose also has experience working at ETECSA-Cuban Telecommunication Company. From March 2014 to March 2015, they served as a Sales Manager and was responsible for leading and controlling the sales process and closing contracts with customers. Prior to that, from September 2012 to March 2014, they worked as a Telematics Specialist-Training, where they gained expertise in designing and installing data transmission services using xDSL and WiFi technology.

From 2007 to 2012, Jose Compte attended the Universidad de Oriente where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering.
