Daniel E. Rasmussen

Daniel E. Rasmussen has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Daniel is currently the Head of CMC Program Development, MSAT, and Clinical Supplies at Ichnos Sciences since June 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Senior Associate CMC Project Director at Ichnos Sciences from February 2020 to June 2021.

Before joining Ichnos Sciences, Rasmussen worked as a CMC Project Lead at Ferring Pharmaceuticals from December 2016 to February 2020. Daniel also served as the Sr Production Support Manager at Bavarian Nordic from June 2015 to October 2016, where they managed a team of 25 employees and handled budgeting responsibilities.

Rasmussen's prior experience includes roles at CMC Biologics from July 2013 to May 2015, where they worked as a Department Manager and a Process Transfer Scientist. Daniel was responsible for managing a team of scientists/specialists, technology transfer, process validation/characterization, and leading Lean Six Sigma projects.

Daniel also worked at Novozymes A/S as an API Coordinator/Scientist from March 2009 to November 2011, focusing on project coordination, tech transfer, and Lean Six Sigma optimization. Additionally, Rasmussen worked at H Lundbeck A/S from June 2008 to March 2009 as a CMO-Manager, Specialist, and at Novo Nordisk A/S from September 2003 to May 2008 as an API Coordinator/Purification Scientist.

Rasmussen's earlier experience includes roles at Statens Serum Institut as a Scientist from March 2001 to September 2003, and at the University of Copenhagen as an Instructor from January 1997 to January 2001.

Daniel's education began with a Matematisk Student degree at Høje Taastrup Amtsgymnasium from 1990 to 1993. In addition to their various degrees, they also obtained a certification in Master of Business Development from Copenhagen Business School.
