Tomi Adetunji, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Earlier in their career, Adetunji held roles at Alion Science and Technology, Rolls-Royce, Military Sealift Command, Lockheed Martin- Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory, and SUNY Maritime College, where they gained experience in engineering, nuclear mechanical engineering, and marine engineering.

Tomi Adetunji, Ph.D. holds a Doctorate (PhD) in Systems Engineering from The George Washington University. Additionally, they earned a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the same institution. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Marine Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York Maritime College. In terms of certifications, Tomi Adetunji holds various credentials, including a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA, a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, and the Merchant Marine Officer, Third Assistant Engineer certification from the U.S. Coast Guard. Tomi Adetunji also has additional certifications in Reliability Centered Maintenance from the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Stanford Advanced Project and Executive Management from Stanford University.
