Navinder Narang

Navinder Narang's work experience includes positions at various companies and organizations. Starting in 1989, they served in the Indian Army as a Commissioned Officer, where they were responsible for operations, HR/Administration, training, and security management. In 2003, they became the Chief Operations Officer at Infantry Brigade, overseeing operational tasks and training. In 2007, they were appointed as Director at Army Group Insurance Fund, taking charge of HR and administration. From 2008 to 2010, they served as a Volunteer Leader at Leadcap and as a Volunteer Member of the Core Leadership Team at XISF Foundation. In 2009, they founded Leaders Cafe 2020 in India. Navinder also became a member of the Leadership Roundtable at Difference Makers Community from 2009 to 2011. In 2010, they joined ICICI Bank as a Zonal Head and later became the Retail Infrastructure Head, handling new geographies and achieving cost optimization. In 2018, they joined ICICI Home Finance Company Limited as the Head of Infrastructure Facilities & ESG, where they focused on sustainability, energy-saving, and digitization initiatives. In addition to their work experience, Navinder Narang completed a PG Certificate in Management from the Management Development Institute, Gurgaon.

Navinder Narang has a diverse education history. They recently completed a Professional Certification Program in Digital Transformation at Purdue University in 2023. In 2010, they obtained a Certificate in Business Management from the Management Development Institute, focusing on various business operations and marketing topics. In 2009, Navinder earned a DipTD in HR from the Indian Society of Training and Development. They also hold an MSc in Defence Studies from the Defence Services Staff College, which they completed in 2003. Earlier in their education journey, Navinder earned a BSc in English, Sciences, and Mathematics, both from Jawaharlal Nehru Vishvavidyalaya and the National Defence Academy in 1988. Prior to that, they completed their Pre-University studies at Dyal Singh College in 1985. Their academic journey began at St. Theresa's Convent Sr. Sec. School, where they completed their High School education under the CBSE curriculum. Additionally, Navinder holds an ISTD Diploma from the International Society for Trainers & Developers, obtained in 2008.
