Chaitanya worked as a Research Intern at IGIDR in 2020. In 2021, they joined ICICIdirect as a Senior Manager, Data Science, where they utilized graph algorithms to identify customer families and implemented a rule-based methodology to identify societies within the customer base. They also developed a propensity model for stop-traded customers, resulting in a 10% increase in customer conversion. In 2023, they were promoted to the role of Chief Data Scientist at ICICIdirect, where they collaborated with stakeholders to generate actionable insights and led a team in utilizing clustering algorithms to identify potential customer segments.

Chaitanya earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Daulatram College in 2019. From 2019 to 2021, they pursued a Master's degree in Economics from Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research. Additionally, in 2020, they obtained certifications in Macroeconometric Forecasting, Data Analysis with Python, Data Visualization with Python, and Python for Data Science and AI from institutions such as edX and Coursera.
