Ankit Pramanik

Ankit Pramanik is an accomplished researcher specializing in glaciology and hydrology, with extensive experience in investigating the impacts of climate change on glaciers and ice sheets. Ankit's research includes significant positions such as Postdoctoral Researcher at Université libre de Bruxelles and Stockholm University, where studies focused on melt rate projections and glacier retreat. As a Glacio-Hydrology Specialist at ICIMOD, Ankit examines the crucial role of Himalayan glaciers in sustaining regional water resources.
