Alex Wong

Alex Wong has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies.

Starting in 2011, Wong worked as a Programming and Design Consultant at Spear Design Group, where they updated and revised Adobe Flash based portfolios for clients and optimized Actionscript code.

In 2012, Wong joined Too Much Media as a Technical Support and Development employee, providing technical support to clients of NATS software and developing PHP code.

Moving to iCIMS in 2013, Wong began as an Associate Software Engineer and gradually moved up to the role of Principal Software Architect, DMTS. During their time at iCIMS, they held various roles including Senior Principal Software Architect, Principal Software Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer. Alex played key roles as a Scrum Master, Architect, and Lead Developer for Talent Cloud AI interface solutions and agile teams working on iCIMS' Offer, earning recognition from HR Tech as "Awesome New HR Technology."

Overall, Wong has demonstrated expertise in software engineering, architecture, and development, with notable contributions such as designing and developing a front-end dynamic calendar scheduling application with third-party calendar integration and being the principal inventor of a patent in computerized systems and methods for scheduling.

Alex Wong attended Old Bridge High School from 2005 to 2009. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Alex has also obtained several certifications. In 2017, they became a Certified ScrumMaster through Scrum Alliance. In the same year, they also obtained the Certified Secure Developer certification from WhiteHat Security. More recently, in 2020, Alex completed the Algorithmic Trading and Stocks Essential Training certification offered by LinkedIn.
