Amanda Ludwinski

Amanda Ludwinski has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Amanda began their career as a Student Assistant in Web Portal Support/Development at The Cancer Institute of New Jersey, where they gained experience in PHP, MySQL, and XML web development. Amanda then worked as an Associate Programmer Analyst at Broadridge, where they made modifications to web-based client interfaces using JSP and JavaScript.

Amanda then joined The Cancer Institute of New Jersey again as a Content Specialist I, supporting the New Jersey State Cancer Registry and assisting with in-house web applications. Amanda later moved on to iCIMS as a User Interface Developer I, where they maintained and streamlined front-end code for their web applications.

At iCIMS, Amanda progressed to roles such as User Interface Developer II and III, where they continued to maintain front-end code and collaborated with UX architects and designers to define reusable patterns. Amanda also acted as Scrum Master for the UI Components team and conducted customer interviews for initial research.

Amanda then transitioned to CentralReach as a UX/UI Engineer, developing and maintaining an internal UI component library. Amanda later became the UX/UI Lead, working with product managers to design UX solutions and documenting workflows and design decisions.

Returning to iCIMS, Amanda took on the role of Design Systems Lead, where they empowered and advocated for consistent experiences across products through tools, processes, and communication channels. Amanda collaborated with Product Design and Engineering teams to define the overall strategy and roadmap for the iCIMS Design System.

Most recently, Amanda is serving as the Principal Design Ops Manager at iCIMS, executing workshops, surveys, and observations to support designers with updated processes, tools, and training. Amanda introduced UX briefs as part of the UX project intake process and is working on increasing completion of the UI review process with Agile Ops.

Overall, Amanda has a strong background in UX/UI design, front-end development, and design systems management.

Amanda Ludwinski completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University between 2005 and 2009. Amanda later obtained additional certifications, including being a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance in July 2017. In May 2016, they completed a certification in Interaction Design from Cooper. Moreover, they also completed a UX: Interaction Design Course from Designlab (trydesignlab.com) in January 2016.
