Katie Fleury

Katie Fleury has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. Katie currently works at iCIMS as the Manager of Privacy Operations, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Principal Privacy Analyst at iCIMS from February 2021 to January 2022 and as the Senior Privacy Analyst from July 2019 to February 2021.

Before joining iCIMS, Katie worked at EBSCO Industries, Inc. as the Senior Governance, Risk and Compliance Specialist for Corporate IT from December 2018 to July 2019. In this role, they were responsible for creating and implementing the company's risk assessment framework and leading the PCI Compliance Committee. Katie also worked as an IT Project Manager for Corporate IT and a Marketing Specialist in Marketing Communications at EBSCO Industries, managing various marketing and communication projects across different industries and departments.

Prior to their time at EBSCO Industries, Katie worked at PRADCO Outdoor Brands as the Marketing Manager from May 2014 to August 2015. In this role, they collaborated with brand management and managed strategic marketing plans. Katie also served as an Internet Marketing Specialist, launching new websites and managing PPC campaigns.

Katie began their career as an Accounting Assistant at Debbie Brower CPA PLLC from November 2011 to May 2012, where they managed client bookkeeping and evaluated tax returns. Katie also worked as a Special Events Manager at Junior Achievement of Western Massachusetts from August 2010 to August 2011, planning and executing fundraising events.

Additionally, Katie had a leadership role as Co-President at Exclusive Tee's from 2009 to 2011 and gained intern experience at Global Spectrum - Massmutual Center as a Marketing/Group Sales Intern from October 2009 to March 2010. Katie also worked as a Consumer Insights Intern at Hasbro from January 2007 to May 2007, participating in market research and organizing ideation meetings.

Katie Fleury completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a concentration in Marketing & Sales, along with minors in Spanish and Economics, at Springfield College from 2006 to 2010. In 2009, they also studied Spanish Language, Literature, History, and Economics at Universidad de Alcalá for one year. Continuing their education, they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro from 2011 to 2013.

Furthermore, Katie Fleury has obtained several certifications. In 2018, they became a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) from The International Association of Privacy Professionals and a OneTrust Certified Privacy Management Professional (OTCP) from OneTrust. Katie later achieved the Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) certification from The International Association of Privacy Professionals in 2021. Katie is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) since 2020. Additionally, they hold the Volunteer Leadership Recognition certification from The International Association of Privacy Professionals, obtained in 2021, and the IAPP KnowledgeNet Chapter Chair certification, obtained in 2020.
