Tarun Chachra

Tarun Chachra has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Tarun is currently employed at iCIMS, where they serve as the Manager of Cloud Operations since April 2022. Prior to this, they held positions at iCIMS as a Senior Principal Systems Engineer from January 2022 to April 2022, a Principal System Engineer from January 2021 to December 2021, a System Engineer IV from January 2018 to December 2020, and a System Engineer III from March 2016 to December 2017.

Before joining iCIMS, Tarun worked at KSL Media, Inc. as the Vice President and Director of IT/IS NA from September 2004 to April 2015. In this role, they led a team of IT professionals and oversaw the company's IT infrastructure. Tarun managed the IT operations, networks, hardware, and software, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Tarun also handled a significant annual budget.

Prior to KSL Media, Inc., Tarun worked at Publicis USA, Inc. as the Director of Information Technology North America from March 2000 to September 2004. Here, they led a team across 11 locations and implemented IT strategies for the multinational advertising and public relations corporation. Tarun was responsible for network administration, hardware/software procurement and installation, server monitoring, and backup/recovery strategy.

Tarun's early career includes a role as the IT-MIS Director at DeWitt Media, Inc. from July 1996 to March 2000. In this position, they provided high-level IT infrastructure support for the web design and online marketing agency. Tarun managed a customized media buying/planning and financial system called Datatrack and regularly interacted with clients to guide them in using technology for media-related activities.

Tarun Chachra has a strong education background in accounting and information systems. In 1984, they obtained their High School Diploma with a focus on accounting from Woodstock School. After completing high school, Tarun attended Pace University from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting Information Systems.

In addition to their formal education, Tarun has acquired various certifications in the field of cloud computing and financial operations. Tarun obtained the following certifications: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2022, AWS: Automation and Optimization and AWS: Cost and Performance Optimization from LinkedIn in August 2021, FOCP: FinOps Certified Practitioner from The Linux Foundation in August 2021, Cloud Architecture: Core Concepts from LinkedIn in May 2021, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in February 2020. These certifications indicate Tarun's commitment to expanding their knowledge and expertise in the field of cloud computing and financial operations.
