Alan Kersey

a Farmington, CT based company developing smart cancer imaging solutions for intraoperative real-time cancer visualization to aid surgeons in the resection of malignant tissue. Alan has been involved in photonic sensing, optical instrumentation, and biotech tools development and systems commercialization throughout his post-university career; initially as a research scientist to the US Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, DC, and subsequently with several start-ups in Connecticut for the past 25 years.
