Wayne Wilhelm

Manager Financial Planning at Mission Square Retirement

Wayne Wilhelm's work experience includes roles in various financial institutions. From 2019 onwards, they worked at MissionSquare Retirement (formerly ICMA-RC) as a Manager of Financial Planning. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2018, they were an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, where they managed a multi-billion dollar program of nonqualified deferred compensation plans. At Morgan Stanley, they also directed the third-party recordkeeping function. Before that, from 2004 to 2007, Wayne was a Manager at TIAA, where they managed $1.2 billion in retirement savings plans and directed the executive compensation program. Starting in 1994, Wayne worked at Merrill Lynch, first as a Vice President in Benefits and Deferred Compensation, overseeing a $2 billion nonqualified deferred compensation program and introducing alternative investments. Wayne then took on the role of Vice President, Divisional Controller, where they directed financial and management reporting for the division and oversaw budgets and cost reduction efforts.

Wayne Wilhelm has an education history that includes a Master of Business Administration - MBA from NYU Stern School of Business, with a focus on Finance and Economics. Prior to that, Wayne obtained a Bachelor of Science - BS in Accounting from the University of Scranton.
