Andrew B.f. Poon

Andrew B.F. Poon has extensive work experience in the animation industry. Andrew B.F. began their career at Zoic Studios in 2006 as a Senior Animator. Andrew B.F. then moved on to Rainmaker Entertainment Inc as a Lead Animator and worked there from 2006 to 2011. Andrew B.F. later joined Ubisoft as a Lead Animator from 2007 to 2010. In 2011, they worked at Goldtooth Creative and Rainmaker Entertainment Inc again as a Senior Animator and Lead Animator, respectively. From 2012 to 2013, they worked at SkyBox Labs as a Senior Animator. In 2012, they also worked briefly at Rainmaker Entertainment Inc as a Lead Animator. Andrew B.F. then joined Microsoft in 2010 as a Senior Animator, and in 2011, they moved to DHX Media and held various roles including Senior Animator, Lead Animator, and Director until 2015. Since 2015, they have been working at ICON Creative Studio as the Director of Animation.

Andrew B.F. Poon attended Vancouver College from 1986 to 1991, where they earned a High School degree. Following their high school education, they enrolled at Emily Carr University of Art and Design from 1991 to 1992, studying Foundation Studies. Later, in 1996 and 1997, Poon attended Vancouver Film School, specializing in 3D Animation & Visual Effects - Class II.
