Ian Farmer

Ian Farmer is an experienced animator currently serving as an Intermediate Animator at ICON Creative Studio since November 2022. Previously, Ian worked as an Animation Generalist at Hinge from January 2020 to October 2022, focusing on 2D/CG motion graphics, mocap cleanup, and hand-key animation within a Maya/After Effects/Blender/Cinema 4D ecosystem. Ian’s career also includes roles as a Jr. Animator at Hinge, a valet at Dossier, and various front desk positions in the hospitality industry. Earlier experiences in the film industry include positions as an Office PA and General Production Intern at Aéro Film. Ian holds a Certificate in Classic Pro Animation from Animation Mentor and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Experimental Animation from the Maryland Institute College of Art.
