Joel Ortega Ortiz

Joel Ortega Ortiz is an experienced lighting and compositing artist in the film industry, with a background in teaching visual arts and film. Joel has worked as a filmmaker, freelance filmmaker, program director, instructor, and communication manager in various companies. Joel holds a Master of Arts in Film from Universidad Iberoamericana and a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Art and Animation from Tecnológico de Monterrey. Joel has also pursued further education in 3D modeling, shading, lighting, and 3D animation. Currently, Joel is making significant contributions to the Mexican audiovisual industry through their work at ICON Creative Studio and Comadreja Audiovisual.
