Luiza Salazar

Luiza Salazar is a seasoned animation professional with extensive experience in the animation industry. Currently serving as a Senior Animator at ICON Creative Studio since October 2020, Luiza has held multiple animation roles, including Animator at WildBrain and Atomic Cartoons, and started with entry-level positions such as Jr Animator at DHX Media and Animator at Rainmaker Entertainment Inc. A strong educational background includes a Master of Arts in Children’s Literature from The University of British Columbia and multiple diplomas in 3D Animation and Visual Effects and Visual Art & Design from Vancouver Film School. Luiza also possesses early experience in marketing and customer service roles, showcasing a diverse skill set that complements animation expertise.
