Alec Jones

Alec Jones is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in project management and engineering roles in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Project Engineer and Equipment Prospect Manager at ICON Engineering Pty Ltd since March 2020, Alec has successfully led teams on key projects such as the rigging and operation of a semi-submersible rig and the decommissioning of complex structures. Previously, Alec worked as a Graduate Project Engineer at Primero Group Ltd, where responsibilities included overseeing the fabrication and installation of a major diesel and lubrication oil farm facility for BHP. Alec's engineering journey began with an internship at Jacobs, contributing to design work on significant infrastructure projects. Alec holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) with Honours from Edith Cowan University.
