Allan Young

Allan Young has extensive experience in the engineering and materials logistics field, currently working at ICON Engineering Pty Ltd since June 2006, where responsibilities include planning and executing workscopes on both Australian and international work sites. Prior to this role, Allan served as a Boilermaker/Welder Foreman at Begley International from August 1994 to November 2004, contributing to operations in a heavy engineering workshop. Additionally, experience at BHP Iron Ore from 1986 to 1993 included positions as a Boilermaker, Leading Hand, and Foreman, with a focus on maintenance and production. Allan holds a Certificate of Metal Construction in Boilermaking and First Class Welding from Wembley Technical College, attended from 1971 to 1975, and completed education at Govenor Stirling Senior High School between 1969 and 1971.
