Michael Willemsen

Michael Willemsen is a seasoned project lead and engineer with extensive experience in offshore engineering and installation projects. Currently serving as Project Lead at ICON Engineering Pty Ltd since May 2023, Michael has been involved in the wellhead platform installation for Shell Brunei. Previously, Michael held senior positions at DOF Subsea, contributing to significant projects such as the Chevron IMR scope and the GS2 project. Michael's career also includes roles as a project engineer and structural engineer at various reputable companies, where Michael has managed complex installations and modifications, including work on the Ichthys field development and the Gorgon gas field projects. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hanze, completed in 2006.
