Dama Montalvo-Mead

Dama Montalvo-Mead has a diverse work experience starting in 2005 as a Resident Advisor and Programming Centre Supervisor at the University of Victoria. In 2006, they became a Freelance Writer, working on various projects including writing blog posts for a nonprofit performance center in Pasadena. Dama joined Russ Reid Company in 2008, starting as an Account Coordinator and eventually progressing to roles such as Senior Account Coordinator, Account Executive, Manager of Business Development, and Business Development Supervisor. In 2014, Dama joined Icon Media Direct, where they held positions including Account Manager, Senior Account Manager, Account Director, Group Account Director, Senior Director of Client Services, and currently serves as the Executive Director of Client Services.

Dama Montalvo-Mead attended the University of Victoria from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in English. Later on, they pursued their education at the California Institute of the Arts from 2009 to 2011, obtaining a Master of Fine Arts degree in Writing.
