Takenori Sanami

Taki Sanami joined Icon Ventures in 2008, bringing a ten-year background in venture capital and finance experience to our firm. His role at Icon is to manage the day-to-day finance operations of the business and help with conducting financial and legal due diligence for investments. He is dedicated to his work and provides a great bridge to our strategic partner in Japan.

Before joining Icon, Taki was the VP of Investor Relations for SB Life Science, a healthcare-focused venture capital firm sponsored by Softbank Corporation. In this role, he was responsible for accounting and investor relations management. Prior to that, Taki held finance positions at Millea Group, an insurance firm formerly known as Tokio Marine Fire and Insurance.

Taki holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in law from Waseda University in Japan.
