Ted Kawahara

Ted Kawahara joined Icon Ventures in 2018 as a director of the Asia Business Development (ABD) Team based in Tokyo. Ted has over 15 years of sales, business development, and project management experience, building a proven track record.

Before rejoining Icon, Ted led a sales team for NetApp Japan that was responsible for one of the largest service provider and enterprise accounts in the country. He acquired several key customers and grew the business in his territory by 10x in five years. He received the most significant sales award in the APAC region and was selected as a member of the global president club several times. Ted started his career at Cisco Systems where he managed a $100M service provider business.

Ted received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration degree from Kobe University in Japan.
