Christopher Fulton is a highly experienced marine scientist with a robust academic and professional background. Currently serving as Principal Research Scientist at the Australian Institute of Marine Science since June 2021, Christopher has also held significant roles such as Aquatic Sciences Cluster Representative for Science & Technology Australia, and Marine Scientist for both the Port Stephens-Great Lakes and Temperate East Marine Park Advisory Committees. With a long tenure at Icon Water as an Aquatic Ecology Consultant, responsibilities have included environmental research and impact assessments. Christopher's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Marine Biology from James Cook University and a Graduate Certificate in Teaching & Learning from The Australian National University. Previous positions include Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer at The Australian National University, along with leadership roles in the Australian Society for Fish Biology.
