Austin Neathery has a diverse work experience in engineering and aerial surveying. Austin started their career as a Lead Lab Technician at LeTourneau University, where they taught lab classes and managed resources for senior design teams. Austin then worked at Caterpillar Inc. as an Associate Engineer, where they designed hydraulic line routings and implemented cost reduction strategies for Motorgraders. Later, they became a Design Engineer at Caterpillar Inc., where they managed the GC hydraulic breakers program and performed GD&T on manufacturing prints.

In 2014, Austin worked as a Consultant at Printr B.V., and in 2016, they founded Meta Drones, a company that provided aerial survey-grade maps and data to various industries. Austin then joined 1519 Surveying, LLC as the Director of Aerial Surveying, where they developed and integrated sUAS solutions for survey applications and planned and executed numerous sUAS photogrammetry operations.

Currently, Austin is working at ICON as an Engineer, although the specific details of their role are not provided.

Austin Neathery obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from LeTourneau University. Austin pursued this undergraduate program from 2006 to 2011.
