Jose Aparicio

Jose Aparicio has extensive work experience in the field of architecture. Jose currently holds the position of Senior Building Design Specialist at ICON, starting in October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Nelsen Partners | Architects & Planners as a Design Staff member from December 2018 to October 2021. Before that, they held multiple Design Staff roles at Lord Aeck Sargent from November 2014 to December 2018. Jose also gained experience as an Intern Architect at Heery International, Inc. from December 2013 to November 2014. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Intern Architect at ADC- Architects from 2010 to 2012 and had a Summer Internship at Edificaciones Choussy Architectural Firm in 2010, where they developed design concepts for hospitality projects. Jose started gaining practical experience as a Summer Intern at Blokker Diseño in 2007.

Jose Aparicio attended Southern Polytechnic State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree in 2013. In addition to their degree, they also achieved certifications as a LEED Green Associate from the U.S. Green Building Council in September 2020 and as a Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) from the Construction Specifications Institute in December 2020.
