Tristan Macelli

Tristan Macelli has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. In 2015, they worked as a Minecraft Teacher at the San Diego French-American School, where they taught engineering and problem-solving skills to 1st through 5th-grade students using Minecraft.

In 2017, Tristan interned at Morgan Stanley, where they assisted Financial Advisors in managing client information and engaging with clients and prospects on social media platforms. Tristan continued this internship in 2018, expanding their responsibilities to include managing a client database and content delivery.

In 2019, Tristan took on a DevOps Intern role at Tealium, where they contributed to the development of CI/CD infrastructure using AWS services and wrote infrastructure code using Terraform. Tristan collaborated with cross-functional teams to communicate progress and address any roadblocks.

Tristan then joined Saama in 2020 as a Data Engineer, working on the Life Sciences Analytics Cloud (LSAC) product. Tristan automated customer data intake and data discrepancy reporting using Python scripts, enabling clinical practitioners to gain deeper insights into clinical trials.

Most recently, Tristan joined ICON in 2022 as a Software Engineer. Tristan'srole involves maintaining software services for a concrete 3D printer, including creating a machine status capture feature and a status timeline parsing algorithm. Tristan also provides software support on job sites, bridging the gap between machine operators and software functionality, and gathering insights/feedback on the mobile controls application.

Tristan's work experience encompasses software engineering, data engineering, and internships in finance and education sectors.

Tristan Macelli completed their Bachelor of Science in Informatics from the University of Washington from 2016 to 2020. Before attending university, they attended La Jolla High School from 2012 to 2016. They also obtained a certification for their Bachelor of Science in Informatics from the University of Washington in June 2020.
