George Mercado

George Mercado has over 20 years of work experience in various roles focused on digital and web services. George began their career at IBM as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were responsible for coding and developing software applications. George then moved to InspireWorks Inc., where they served as the Director of Internet Technology, leading a team of developers and providing expertise in software development and new media strategy. After that, they worked as a self-employed professional, offering web development, internet marketing, and e-commerce solutions for the entertainment and sports industries.

In 2008, George joined Toshiba as the Internet & E-Commerce Manager, where they were responsible for strategic planning, budgeting, and the development of Toshiba's websites and content management system. George also handled SEO/SEM strategy and interactive marketing content on partner, retailer, and industry sites.

George then worked at MetLife as the Communications Technology Manager, overseeing the development and creative direction of MetLife's sales web portal, which delivered marketing, internal, and legal messaging. George then joined Realogy as the Senior Director of Interactive Development, where they were responsible for the brand's Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate websites and agent intranet portal, as well as interactive strategy, SEO/SEM, and multimedia strategy.

In 2015, George became the Director of Digital Strategy at AmerisourceBergen, where they focused on digital strategies for the company. George later joined iconectiv as the Director of Digital and Web Services, responsible for managing and developing the company's web presence globally, including creating plans for website enhancements, improvements, and content management.

Throughout their career, George demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and expertise in web development, digital strategy, and software development.
