Guillermo Cartaya has an extensive work experience history. Guillermo began their career as a District Sales Manager at Lexmark International in 2008, where they held this position until 2010 when they were promoted to Regional Sales Manager. After leaving Lexmark, Cartaya worked as the Southeast Market Manager at MarketStar for a few months in 2012 before moving on to become a Sales Manager for Retail Accounts at TracFone Wireless. In 2013, they joined NCR Corporation as a Strategic Account Manager, staying with the company until 2016. Finally, Cartaya currently works at Iconex, where they started as a Strategic Account Manager and has since been promoted to Director of Sales - Strategic Accounts in 2019.

Guillermo Cartaya began their education in 1992 at St. Brendan High School, where they completed their high school studies without pursuing a specific degree or field of study. Following this, they enrolled at Florida International University from 1996 to 2002. During their time at the university, Guillermo pursued a double major in Advertising and History, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Communication upon completion of their degree.
