Sébastien Ricci has had a diverse range of work experiences. Sébastien is currently serving as the Head of Architecture at Iconia Group since January 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at LaCellula LAB as a Lighting designer and project Manager from January 2016 to January 2021. In 2015, they engaged in a study abroad program at Séjour linguisitique anglais. Sébastien also worked as an Éclairagiste et chef de projet en électricité at BG Ingénieurs Conseils SA from December 2011 to June 2015. Sébastien has also worked as a Chargé de cours at SLG - Association Suisse pour l'éclairage from September 2012 to 2015. Additionally, they were a Chargé de cours Technicien ES at CEPM from 2011 to 2014. Other notable experiences include serving as Responsable de projet at BETELEC SA from February 2008 to September 2011, Projeteur at Duvoisin Groux SA in 2006, and Collaborateur en vente technique at Regent Lighting from 2005 to 2006. Furthermore, Sébastien started their career in 2001 as an APPRENTISSAGE DE DESSINATEUR-ÉLECTRICIEN at BETELEC SA, where they worked until 2005.

Sébastien Ricci has a diverse education history. In 2001, they attended EPSIC École professionelle de Lausanne where they earned a CFC degree in Dessintateur électricien, specializing in electrical drawing. From 2007 to 2010, they pursued studies at CEPM and obtained a Technicien ES en bâtiment degree with a focus on electricity. In 2010, they enrolled in SLG and completed the Planificateur Eclairagiste SLG1 program, enhancing their knowledge in lighting design. The following year, Sébastien attended AFE and earned a Certificat de capacité en éclairage "Maîtrise en éclairage intérieur et extérieur", emphasizing interior and exterior lighting. Additionally, they expanded their expertise in public lighting by studying Éclairage public at SLG in 2011. Sébastien also dedicated time in 2015 to sharpen their language skills, attending Global Village USA and St-Giles England to strengthen their proficiency in General English and Business English. Lastly, in 2016, they further honed their language abilities at Ciao Italy's Scuola di lingua italiana.
