Kerry Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. They co-founded iCONN Systems, LLC in 2007 and held the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing until 2018, after which they became the Vice President of Business Development until 2022. In 2022, Kerry retired from their role as Co-Founder and Minority Owner at iCONN Systems, LLC. Prior to iCONN Systems, LLC, Kerry served as the Director of Sales at Mechanical Products from 2004 to 2007. They also held the position of Industrial Products Manager at Conxall Corporation, a Switchcraft Company, from 2000 to 2004. Kerry was the Director of Sales and Marketing at Conxall Corporation from 1997 to 1999. Before that, they worked at The Pyle-National Company / Sine Systems - An Amphenol Company as the Manufacturing Manager from 1995 to 1997 and as the Director of Sales & Marketing from 1993 to 1995. From 1990 to 1993, Kerry was the National Sales & Marketing Manager at Conxall Corporation. They worked at The Pyle-National Company / An Amphenol Company as the Industry Marketing Manager from 1986 to 1990. Prior to that, Kerry served as a Territory Sales Manager at Buffa Company from 1984 to 1986. Their first professional role was as an Assistant Sales Manager at Positronic Industries from 1983 to 1984.

Kerry Nelson attended Oakton Community College from 1971 to 1973, where they obtained an Associate in Arts degree in Liberal Arts. After completing their studies at Oakton, Kerry enrolled in Northeastern Illinois University from 1973 to 1976, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and Environmental Studies. Their field of study at Northeastern was Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies.
